How will my child benefit from joining Scouting?

We give young people the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

Application Form

In order to add the young person’s details to our records, please complete the form below, which will be sent to one or more of our leaders.

Unfortunately, we operate waiting lists for all of our sections. As our leaders are all volunteers and work full-time, we run each section at maximum capacity.

Priority on our waiting list is given to:

• Existing members of the Scout Group
• Children of current or former volunteers
• Siblings of current members

Please note that the decision to admit anyone to the Group rests with the Group Scout Leader/Group Lead Volunteer. However, this is generally delegated to the Leadership Team of the section concerned, in accordance with The Scout Association's policies.

Due to high demand, we are no longer accepting new applications for the following sections:

   Beaver Colony (ages 6-8)

Cub Pack (ages 8-10.5)
