Group Lead Volunteer
Each Scout Group is led by a Group Lead Volunteer (formally Group Scout Leader). George is our Scout group’s Group Lead Volunteer and an Explorer Team Leader; I lead a terrific volunteer team of 20 who provide active and interesting weekly programming for 70 young people.

Group Trustee Board
The Trustee Board is a group of volunteers that work together as charity trustees to ensure Scouting is managed safely and legally. This is led by Jimmy, our Chair, Matt, our Treasurer, George, our Group Lead Volunteer, and other trustees who assist our volunteers in delivering outstanding activities that equip young people with life skills.
Group Leadership Team
The Group Leadership Team supports volunteers across all Sections, ensuring they work collaboratively and effectively. They focus on fostering respect for the Group within the local community while ensuring the voices and ideas of young people influence decisions across the Group and its Sections.
This team includes Team Leaders from Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, alongside our Group Lead Volunteer.
Section Teams
The Section Teams is responsible for planning, delivering, and running engaging and safe programmes for our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorer sections. They ensure that every young person can fully participate in the programme and develop essential skills for life. Additionally, they support young people in achieving their Top Awards – a goal many have proudly reached thanks to the dedication of our leaders!
Each Section Team consists of Team Leaders, Team Members, and Young Leaders.
Sub-Teams
The Group has various Sub-Teams such as the Target Sports Team, Headquarters/Equipment Team and the Fundraising Team. These teams are made up of dedicated groups of volunteers who focus on specific areas such as membership management, group assets, training, fundraising, and uniform stock
